WELDER
General Description

Layout and fabricate sub-assemblies from drawings and specifications. Assemble and weld sub-assemblies into finished units using final assembly drawings. Perform additional duties as assigned by Supervisor. Full time first shift: 7:00am - 3:30pm Monday thru Friday

Job Requirements
  • 2 years experience Mig welding using .035 wire
  • Experience welding carbon steel
  • Use of measuring, layout and assembly tools
  • Good communication skills with a positive attitude
  • Basic computer and math skills
  • Fork lift and overhead crane experience.
  • Ability to lift and handle objects up to 60 lbs. Ability to frequently stand, bend, & reach
  • Maintain work area in an organized, clean, and safe condition


GENERAL LABORER
General Description

Experience working in a manufacturing environment is preferred but not required. Familiar with raw materials such as carbon and stainless steel plate, angle and flat steel, pipe and tubing, is helpful. Perform additional duties as assigned by Supervisor. Full time first shift: 7:00am - 3:30pm Monday thru Friday, Part time also available.

Job Requirements
  • Good communication skills with a positive attitude
  • Basic computer and math skills
  • Fork lift and overhead crane experience preferred, but will train and certify
  • Ability to lift and handle objects up to 60 lbs. Ability to frequently stand, bend, & reach
  • Maintain work areas in an organized, clean, and safe condition
  • Familiarization with measuring and assembly tools (electric and air tools)
  • Assist Shipping and Receiving Department with processing incoming and outgoing shipments
  • Maintain work area in an organized, clean, and safe condition

The Application Process


In Person
  1. Visit Cain Industries, located at W194 N11826 McCormick Dr., Germantown, WI 53022, between 10am and 2pm, Monday thru Friday
  2. Fill out written application and take basic math test; may take up to an hour
  3. Welding position requires an additional print reading test and welding test (please bring welding helmet)
  4. Interview (may occur during the same visit)
