Boiler Economizer (B Series)

The B Series is comprised of 14 standard boiler economizer models. As “off the shelf” economizers, they are designed primarily for use with steam and hot water boilers with round stacks that operate on No. 2 fuel oil or natural gas. The energy recovered is used to heat boiler feedwater, makeup water, process water, potable water, or hot water return. These boiler economizers can also be used with hot water storage tanks, and condensate tanks.

The standard stack connections can be easily modified to fit boiler stacks from 10” to 34” diameters; alleviating the cost of stack adapters. The B Series has a combustion capacity of 40 to 800 BHP with entering gas temperatures between 300° and 700°F.

These Cain economizers come standard with fin spacing of 4 or 6 Fins Per Inch (FPI) depending on the efficiency of the combustion. With its lightweight design and exclusive AL-FUSE™ heat transfer surface, installation is fast and costs are kept to a minimum.
